Day 1: Arrive Stone Town
Airport meet-and-greet and transfer to a heritage hotel in the old quarter. Free afternoon. Welcome dinner on a harbour-facing rooftop.

Day 2: Stone Town walking tour
Morning walking tour with a local historian - fort, cathedral, slave-market chambers, spice market, Freddie Mercury's birthplace. Free afternoon. Sunset at Forodhani Gardens.

Day 3: Jozani Forest, spice plantation, transfer north coast
Morning at Jozani-Chwaka Bay for a guided walk with a park ranger and the mangrove boardwalk. Spice plantation en route with a Swahili village lunch. Continue to Nungwi or Kendwa on the north coast.

Day 4: North coast, free day
Free day on the north coast. Optional: sailing dhow trip to a sand bank for lunch, a diving refresher for certified divers, or a village bicycle ride.

Day 5: North coast, sunset dhow
Free day, sunset dhow cruise from Kendwa harbour in the evening.

Day 6: Transfer east coast
Mid-morning transfer to the east coast (roughly 2 hours). Afternoon at leisure at your east-coast lodge.

Day 7: Mnemba Atoll snorkel
Early dhow to Mnemba Atoll for a half-day snorkel - turtles, reef fish, sometimes dolphins. Back on the beach for lunch.
