Day 1: Arrive Pemba
Meet on arrival at Chake Chake Airport. Transfer north-west (roughly 90 minutes) to your beach lodge. Welcome dinner and an early night.

Day 2: Misali Island dhow day
Full-day traditional dhow trip to Misali Island, a protected marine reserve twenty minutes offshore. Snorkelling on the west-side reef, a beach picnic, a briefing at the turtle-nesting monitor's hut, and a lazy sail back at sunset.

Day 3: Pemba Channel dive day / west-coast snorkel
Certified divers: two guided dives on the outer channel walls with a Pemba-based dive operator. Non-divers: half-day west-coast snorkel with a boat guide, afternoon at leisure.

Day 4: Ngezi Forest & clove plantation
Morning drive to the Ngezi Vumawimbi Forest Reserve for a guided walk with a park ranger. Afternoon walk through a nearby clove plantation with a local farmer's cooperative and a demonstration of drying, sorting and grading.

Day 5: Chake Chake town & free afternoon
Half-day into Chake Chake - the small Portuguese fort, the market, the port with its dhow yard. Afternoon free on the beach.
