Morning: Drive to Materuni
Pickup from Arusha at 07:00 (or Moshi at 08:00) and a 1.5-2 hour drive up the southern slopes of Kilimanjaro to Materuni village at 1,600 m. Welcome tea with the coordinator.

Late morning: Waterfall hike
45-minute descent to the base of Materuni Waterfall with a local guide. Swimming, photographs and 45-minute return climb.

Midday: Coffee tour and Chagga lunch
Full hands-on coffee experience with a Chagga family - picking, hulling, roasting, grinding, brewing - followed by a traditional home-cooked lunch on the veranda.

Afternoon: Village walk and return
Short cultural walk through the village - underground tunnels, banana plots, viewpoint - and drive back to your Arusha or Moshi hotel by 17:30-18:30.
