This eleven-day educational journey is designed for teachers travelling with student groups who want more than a wildlife holiday. It is a rolling classroom in the field: ecology on the crater floor, evolutionary biology at Oldupai Gorge, cultural anthropology with the Hadzabe and Datoga at Lake Eyasi, conservation practice with the rangers of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the everyday sociology of a Tanzanian school visit in Arusha.

The itinerary is deliberately paced. Each day pairs one flagship park or landscape with a structured educational component - a museum, a walking module with rangers, a cultural interaction, or a research site - so that students come home with fieldwork notes, not just camera rolls. Teachers receive a customised packing list and a briefing pack before departure, and every group travels with a dedicated Western Bridge Africa tour leader in addition to the licensed driver-guides in each 4x4.

We handle every logistical detail from the moment your flight touches down at Kilimanjaro International: airport pickup, transfers, park permits, lodging, all meals, drinking water, and gratuities. Vehicles are private pop-top Land Cruisers assigned to your group only, with a maximum of six or seven students per vehicle so every seat has an unobstructed view. Accommodation runs from Arusha lodges and Karatu country lodges through mid-range tented camps in the Serengeti and lodges bordering Tarangire, always with real beds, hot showers, and secure charging.

The trip closes on a reflective note: a drive back to Arusha with a stop for souvenirs, a final debrief with your tour leader, and a farewell dinner before your evening flight home. Students leave with a working understanding of an East African ecosystem, meaningful encounters with communities who welcomed them as guests, and the sort of stories that shape a young person's sense of the world for a long time afterwards.
