7-Day Northern Circuit Safari

Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire
Pickup and the two-hour drive to Tarangire. Full-day game drive with picnic lunch, elephants, baobabs, the river circuit. Overnight at a tented camp on the southern boundary.

Day 2: Tarangire → Lake Manyara → Karatu
Morning game drive in Lake Manyara, tree-climbing lions, hippo pools, dense forest birding. Transfer up to Karatu in the afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Karatu → Serengeti
Cross the Ngorongoro highlands and descend to Naabi Hill. Long game drive through the central Serengeti to Seronera, arriving at camp before dusk.

Day 4: Full day Serengeti
Optional balloon safari at dawn. Long morning game drive in the Seronera circuit, lunch in camp, afternoon drive in the kopjes. With two nights at the same camp the guide has the freedom to chase a specific sighting all day.

Day 5: Serengeti → Ngorongoro rim
Morning game drive in the Serengeti, then transfer east to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Sunset at the viewpoint and dinner at the lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Full crater descent, roughly six hours on the caldera floor with picnic lunch. Return to the lodge on the rim for a second night with sunset and dinner.

Day 7: Ngorongoro → Arusha
After breakfast, optional visit to a Maasai boma in the Ngorongoro highlands. Drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early afternoon.
