Day 1: Arusha to Karatu
Drive from Arusha via Mto wa Mbu, arriving in Karatu in the afternoon. Overnight at a lodge in the coffee farm belt.

Morning drive descending the escarpment to Lake Eyasi. Afternoon orientation walk to the lake shore.

Day 3: Hadzabe and Datoga cultural day
Pre-dawn departure to join a Hadzabe hunting party. Return to camp for a late breakfast. Mid-morning visit to a Datoga blacksmith. Afternoon walk with an Iraqw guide.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Morning drive to Ngorongoro. Descend to the crater floor for a full game drive with picnic lunch. Ascend in the mid-afternoon to the crater rim.

Day 5: Lake Manyara and return
