4-Day Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire → Karatu
Morning pickup and drive to Tarangire National Park. Full-day game drive with picnic lunch, Tarangire's elephant herds, baobab country and birding. Late afternoon transfer up to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu → Serengeti
Cross the Ngorongoro highlands and descend to Naabi Hill, the gateway to the Serengeti plain. Game drive through Seronera with picnic lunch, arriving at the tented camp before dusk. Look for resident lion prides on the kopjes and leopard in the sausage trees along the Seronera River.

Day 3: Full day Serengeti
Optional pre-dawn balloon safari (booked separately) followed by a champagne breakfast on the plain. A full day of game-viewing without breaking camp, the Seronera river circuit in the morning, retiring to camp for lunch in the hot middle of the day, and an afternoon drive through the kopjes for predators.

Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
Early breakfast and transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Descend to the caldera floor for several hours of game-viewing, lion, elephant, hippo, and the chance of black rhino, with picnic lunch beside the Ngoitokitok pool. Ascend in the early afternoon and continue the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening.
