Safari Overview

The four-day Northern Circuit is the most popular short itinerary we run. It covers exactly the same parks as the three-day trip but takes the pressure off day two and day three, allowing a full day in the Serengeti rather than a transit and game drive on the same day. It is the shortest itinerary that lets you sleep two nights in the same place, a small but meaningful luxury after the long Tarangire-Serengeti drive.
The route runs Arusha → Tarangire (day one) → Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (day two) → full day in central Serengeti (day three) → Ngorongoro Crater and back to Arusha (day four). Many guests add an early-morning balloon safari over the Serengeti on day three; we can pre-book this at the operator's published rate.
Tarangire is the warm-up park: an easy introduction to game-viewing, with elephants and the Tarangire River as the central spectacle. The Serengeti is the headline, with two nights at a tented camp inside the park, close enough to drive at sunrise without re-entering through a gate. Ngorongoro Crater is the dramatic finale, descending to the caldera floor on the final morning before the long road back to Arusha.
The itinerary is fully private and fully customisable. Common adjustments include upgrading the Serengeti property to a more permanent tented camp, replacing the second Serengeti night with a Lake Manyara extension, or flying back from the Serengeti to Arusha to save five hours of driving on day four.
