Day 1: Fly to Katavi
Morning scheduled flight from Arusha via Ruaha to Ikuu airstrip. Transfer to camp on the Katisunga floodplain, lunch on arrival. Afternoon game drive along the Katuma River.

Morning walking safari with an armed ranger, brunch at camp, afternoon game drive to the hippo pools.

Morning drive to a mobile fly camp on the plain. Sundowners, dinner around the fire, night under canvas with the sounds of hyena and hippo.

Day 4: Depart Katavi
