Contract Agreement

By booking a tour with Western Bridge Africa (WBA), you (the client) enter into a contract with WBA and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Booking & Payments

• A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking
• The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure. Failure to do so may result in cancellation and forfeiture of your deposit
• For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately
• Payments can be made via bank transfer or other accepted methods. Retain proof of payment
• International flights booked through us are non-refundable

• You must inform us in writing of any medical conditions or disabilities that may affect your participation
• WBA reserves the right to decline bookings if we cannot meet your needs
• Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in cancellation without a refund

Documentation

• Upon receiving your confirmation invoice, tickets, and other documents, check them immediately
• Report any errors within 14 days; otherwise, you will be responsible for correction costs unless the error is ours

Travel Documents

• You are responsible for ensuring you hold a valid passport (six months validity beyond travel dates), the correct visa, and any required vaccination certificates
• Tanzania requires proof of yellow fever vaccination for travellers arriving from endemic countries
• WBA cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to missing or invalid documents

• Cancellations more than 60 days before departure: deposit refunded less a 10% administration fee
• Cancellations 30-60 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost is retained
• Cancellations less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the tour cost is non-refundable
• All cancellations must be made in writing

• Requests to change your booking must be made in writing and are subject to availability
• Changes may incur additional charges from suppliers (lodges, airlines, parks)
• Tour prices are quoted based on current park fees, exchange rates and supplier costs. In the rare event of significant increases before departure, WBA reserves the right to pass on the difference

WBA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply to that booking.

• All travel by air, land or sea is subject to the terms and conditions of the individual carrier
• Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all bookings. It must cover medical evacuation, cancellation, curtailment, and personal belongings
• For Kilimanjaro climbs, insurance must include cover for trekking to at least 6,000 metres

• WBA acts as an intermediary between you and third-party suppliers (lodges, airlines, parks). We take reasonable care to select reliable suppliers but are not liable for their acts or omissions
• If a problem arises during your trip, please inform your guide or our office immediately so we can resolve it on the spot
• Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 28 days of the tour ending

• These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania
• Any disputes will be settled in the courts of Arusha, Tanzania
• WBA cannot be held liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by force majeure - including but not limited to natural disasters, war, political unrest, pandemics, strikes and government actions
• Failure by WBA to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision
